It's all good. I ramble also.. I also complain from time to time as you can no doubt see! generally im ok.. I was just feeling burnt on bfg use I cant escape that shit... its funny. I see others dodge my bfg but I am a magnet to theirs. partially I miss often with bfg cuz I just want to get the blast out of the way so I can use a gun im more familiar with. the game is too old to complain of trivial shit and you guys make some valid points. I was probably just sleep deprived but that doesn't mean I enjoy those guns or power up. basically im getting older and im all about 'get off my lawn with your quad' etc...
ahh! I figured it out.. turns out I did in fact have a acct here. and I am now able to log in. geez what a mess! now i have 2 accts.. i need to somehow delete bzzzt account.
just expressing some hate for quad / bfg.. now you have me thinking of cheap perfume and stds.. what are you trying to tell me? i'll be honest.. i'm not following ya.. cant a guy just be inclined to have zero volation other than a lil hate for some cheapo frags?
just a thought... but I think it would kick ass to have a 'special' dm server dedicated for rewarding the best kdrs and killstreaks.. maybe this won't work cuz you cannot lock and reg a name for playing q2. maybe have to do it by i.p?? i don't know. ya know! make it so you can brag or feel you achieved something other then fragging players and then saying GG!? call the server dmx or dmt or something lol... get rewarded for your hard efforts in playing this game!? i know its monopoly money but it would still be fun to show off stats AND in more detail even!
---> basically id love to see more stats for the players to look at. ---> rank people like the clq did lol? ---> reward ppl with 'something' anything.. even a .jpg ? ( make another stat or trophy page ) --->i know iR did some cool things with the ir 500 yeah? we need more events for q2 as well.
no i havnt thought this out its just a free floating idea. but i think more ppl would come back to irc and to q2 tastyspleen to compete in ffa or tourney events. advanced stats doesn't have to be too in depth its looking good already, and its fun to compete.
the problem with this is it would take a few ppl to set things up and do all the things... as a ex web designer i can offer w/e needs to be done i am good with graphics too but i cannot code the stat portion.. a new page that shows players achievements in q2 per month. collect all the trophies etc. lets get serious! lets also keep this game alive and immortal ( not that it will die ) and try to make it bigger scene wise.. and i cannot thank the admins, any persons involved in keeping these servers up and alive and quadz enough for doing such a fine job already!

1....I know! I can't use a bfg worth a fuck! but the bfg finds me like a magnet without fail! its truly tragic haha.
2.... I can beat them without using quad - it just gets old real fast. I usually give them the chance to not grab the quad, but when they do I will grab it every time if I can. fucking filthy savages. I swear, I hear al swearingens voice telling me 'god damn quad worshipping dirty heathens!'
these things make the dm portion of the game just stupid.. I don't know whats worse... and on top of that 16 players is way too many for these maps haha. I don't want to rant but wow!
