Who would want a trophy server!? is this even possible? make q2 GREATER! again!

just a thought... but I think it would kick ass to have a 'special' dm server dedicated for rewarding the best kdrs and killstreaks..
maybe this won't work cuz you cannot lock and reg a name for playing q2. maybe have to do it by i.p?? i don't know.
ya know! make it so you can brag or feel you achieved something other then fragging players and then saying GG!?
call the server dmx or dmt or something lol... get rewarded for your hard efforts in playing this game!? i know its monopoly money but it would still be fun to show off stats AND in more detail even!

no i havnt thought this out its just a free floating idea. but i think more ppl would come back to irc and to q2 tastyspleen to compete in ffa or tourney events.
advanced stats doesn't have to be too in depth its looking good already, and its fun to compete.


the problem with this is it would take a few ppl to set things up and do all the things... as a ex web designer i can offer w/e needs to be done i am good with graphics too but i cannot code the stat portion.. a new page that shows players achievements in q2 per month. collect all the trophies etc. lets get serious! lets also keep this game alive and immortal ( not that it will die ) and try to make it bigger scene wise.. and i cannot thank the admins, any persons involved in keeping these servers up and alive and quadz enough for doing such a fine job already! 


  but i didn't vote... i did however ab[use] some kratom today - i've never tried it and it took my pain away. it does work!

anybody have any thoughts about this? i know im a psycho but i had to express my idea....

First of all, who are you really? Because "bzzzt" ain't a name I recognize which you've used around here for a long enough time to know that clan iR used to have iR500 events, which hasn't happened in at least 4 or 5 years. When someone shows up with a new name but old stories... I get suspicious.

I think there is an option for you to change what your name displays as, but you will still have the same login name that you registered with. Unless you talk to Quadz and he changes it. Many many moons ago, I asked him to change my login name from [EoM]Focalor to just Focalor, which was probably a tedious and annoying process for him. And it was so long ago... things with the forum might've changed to where he doesn't have that ability anymore. Or... you also have an account under the name "Thief" which was last used in 2011. If you can remember the password or have access to the email acct associated with it still, you can just use that one.

ahh! I figured it out.. turns out I did in fact have a acct here. and I am now able to log in.
geez what a mess! now i have 2 accts.. i need to somehow delete bzzzt account.
