Oh yeah, "talking shit" and "taunting" is also part of the game. Don't be a pussy.

All true.  But I'm not really trying to get better anymore.  I just play Q2 now when I feel like vegging out, kinda like watching TV, but more fun.

It's your frustration that you don't quite have the skill level to compete effectively, and have to, therefore, give in and spawn camp.

I doubt I could ever be one of the elite players you sometimes see, no matter how much I practised.  Some of those guys just stun me.  But I'm as good as a lot of the high-and-mighty whiners I encounter.  I win my share of maps, and sometimes it's not even from camping.

Those truly elite guys NEVER complain.  They just come to kill me, or they leave me be.  The crowd that gets pissy is mainly a couple of tiers down from elite... maybe my level or a bit better.

Can't quite remember if I've ever beaten you or not... I remember you being good.

I find it humorous that guys like this say it's ok and fun, and yet diss the people who call them out.

I don't think the guy typing "f*ck you f*ggot no-skill camper" is having fun.  I think he's pounding his keyboard in frustration, when he should be trying to decamp me, if he cares so much.

Besides, I'm a f*cking f*ggot skilled camper.  ;D

So, grow up, camper!  heheh

Not likely; I'm old.  Too late.  ;D

If you've staked out a position that is not in front of a spawn pad, or a weapon, then ASAIC you are not camping....

Oh, don't get me wrong, it's very often in front of a spawn pad, or a weapon, or the top of an elevator.  See reason #2.   :D

There's this one map where people materialize on a ledge above a room, and you can crouch in front of the pad with a SSG.  The combination of "waauugh!" with the sight of a grunt flying backwards, out and down, legs flying... it just never stops being funny.  :D

I camp like a MF.

Hey IOU, no problem, I was just saying I liked your nick.  It's clever.  I assume the "O" stands for "own".  :-)  In my case, it's unfortunately true.

I play for fun, period; sometimes I win.  All this self-righteous talk about honourable frags is so serious.  It's a computer game folks!  Have fun any way you like.

I love camping.  Why?  Two reasons I guess.  One, I don't like dying, so I'd rather stake out a defendable position than run willy-nilly all around the map.  Two, it's funny as hell.  All the self-appointed defenders of honor start coming at me from all sides.  I'm not the best player around but I'm a lot more skilled than most campers, so many of you camper-hunters are in for a few surprises.
