funny you say that. i was accused of hacking on this server twice in the past week, because apparently i "seemed invulnerable even though there didn't seem to be an invulnerability powerup on the map." know why? because it literally is still quake. you pick up all the armors and megahealth, defend the areas with the powerful weapons, and strafe/ramp jump to avoid getting hit. grappling hook is in threewave. is threewave not quake either? as for the weapon imbalances, if you get used to the new weapons they all have different situational uses (you're not gonna be bullcharging someone with the napalm grenade but if you have the street sweeper it would be a viable tactic.)

Personally i think this mod is fucking awesome for bringing together all aspects of the iD software universe but i can completely understand how purists would hate it. As for Lord Vader himself, he is most definitely not hacking and i've had no problem beating him in the past.

does anybody else remember those abstract maps with the neon textures with all sorts of features (could walk through some walls, low gravity in some maps, bouncing items) that were in rotation in the LoX server almost 10 yrs ago? just curious  :afro:

lol I remember posting this years ago and you all flamed the shit out of me, but I have matured as a person and will not flaunt my knowledge of obscure music at you guys anymore :)

Looking forward to their new album, the guitarist and drummer they had on the Price of Existence quit and they have a new ones now.
