If I try to increase it higher, projectiles start veering off in a direction other than the one you're looking at.

Seriously, theres a bendy rail and split rail hax.

Oh $hat, Alpha (or whatever name he is uses now) is going to go off.

Anyone know of a mod that doesn’t change anything except the projectile speeds of the Blaster, HyperBlaster, and Rocket Launcher, making them more like hitscan weapons?

Well, make rockets much faster and and hyper/blaster more like hitscan/instant shot weapons bullet like.

I think WOD-X can do this, but I don't know if you can do it with all the other crazy WOD-X stuff disabled.

Plan 9 From Outer Space (1957)

I attempted to watch the old notorious Ed Wood film "Plan 9 from Outer Space". I had seen the Johnny Depp movie about Ed Wood and the making of this film. And... I guess it's all true, this movie probably WAS a complete clusterfuck during the making of it, because the outcome is really really bad. I thought The Stuff felt disjointed and puzzle-pieced together, HOLY MOLY, this thing takes the cake. I couldn't finish it, I only got a little past halfway through it (which still deserves a medal of some kind) - I hit the scan forward button and just FFWD'd through it until the end just to at least get the basic idea of how it ends... that was good enough for me. And the ending still wasn't even really worth knowing. Ugh. SO BAD. If you just "WANT" to watch a bad movie, this one will certainly check that box. Otherwise, avoid this one like a pile of doggie doo on the sidewalk.

I would've thought you could use lithium; you would need to set up everything to stock q2 settings (ex. turn off hook/runes/pack/etc) and then alter the blaster_speed / hyperblaster_speed / rocket_speed values.

I tried this however and it looks like there's a cap of 2000 or so units, which is 2x the original speed of the blaster but isn't close to hitscan-like speeds. If I try to increase it higher, projectiles start veering off in a direction other than the one you're looking at.

I haven't heard of one like that specifically, but it sounds pretty easy to implement...

No. From what little I've seen about them, I assumed they were terrible.

I think I was on some reddit sub where the sentiment seemed to be that the Terrifier movies were the goriest movies you could watch. I had never seen a horror movie that I couldn't stomach, so I got curious. I tried to watch Terrifier (the first one) but I actually had to bail partway into the movie. I won't elaborate, but I discovered that some movies, even fake ones, actually have the potential to make my stomach turn.

The first Terrifier is not supposed to be a particularly good movie (in the traditional sense), but part 2 and 3 actually have pretty good reviews (and they're supposedly much more gory/nauseating as well). They're very heavy on practical effects, and they're quite convincing/realistic looking. They're like extended too, so it's not just a quick decapitation, but drawn out scenes that really push the envelope for that kinda stuff.
