Another map dedicated to the Tastyspleen Community.
Suitable for 1on1, FFA and perhaps 2on2 - size a la Chastity Belt.

A lot of trick jumps exploitation possible - circle-shaped map. One Mega, 2 Yellows, 1 adren, 1 quad, 1bp.
Item Availability is a lot like Chastity Belt.

i just can't say enough about how great this map is. There are jumps everywhere. And i'm not a jumper! But i love it. You can cover ground alot faster by improving your jumping on this map. It is a perfect map just to learn the basics of jumping on. Deadbeat has made the gl jump and the stairs to crate to rail jump(major speed). He even made the jump to the backpack from the right side crates that we were having trouble with. Look out dael, deadbeat is coming for ya!

So anyways, you can get to anything you need without jumping. However you can control the map and move much faster/easier by jumping, so it motivates you to do it/learn it. Sounds are great. Play and flow is great. Its a great 2v2 and 1v1. i want to see a 3v3 and a 4v4 on it. i truly think this map could become a standard for play. Congrats, congrats, congrats Laurelin!

I am really interested to see what you can do in texture-editing, it's most probably my weakest point.

Bleach:
About the ramps, one wise viking once told me: Slopes are good!!... They definitly help gaining speed, compared to 'stairs' - and stairs would not make it easier for any jumps anyway.

There's this slope you can use to get backpack. Slope to SSG is possible. With a good speed, you can slope + djump box to Railgun. I know what you mean about sliding all over the map though

Thanks for compliments, I never thought someone would like it that much! Id love to see daelmun give a try at the jumps.

From Stairs (beside yellow in water) to box with healthpacks in middle area.

Solid map. Cleaner and higher velocity than tasdydm1. The slopes are great for speed. The jumps aren't too hard. A rail map, but not a rail only map.

Great job, hope to play you on it!

Very nice, Laurelin....!

tastydm2 has been added to both mutant and vanilla rotations. (On vanilla it comes after q2dm8.)

I personally liked the MH to window myself, I'd be flying by the time i picked up the MH and switch to the railgun and rail someone during the fall to the window. Its a stupid move, but its classy

if someone wouldnt mind could they post some screenshots of the map? and lauralin, q2a beta5 has a screenshotpng command so you dont need to convert from .tga
