RotA Chronicles I demo

As promised last weekend in the tastycast here's the simple Single Player demo of the progress so far.

right now you'll see a lot of place holders, and an uncompleted level 1.
Extract to c:\quake2
to run type
game rotaci
map rotaci_sp1
(make sure you have set deathmatch 0)

Here's the synopsis of the plot:
"The setting is during the dark ages while the plague is at it's worst. A group called the "death riders" also known as the "riders of the apocalypse" is allegedly riding around in groups killing all the affected to purge the earth. What your character comes to find out is that the plague is being caused by the presence of demons being summoned by a mysterious cult, and that the victims of the plague rise again as zombies and other creatures. These creatures must be burned, beheaded, or killed with a weapon blessed by a priest in order to be destroyed. The death riders are actually doing just that to stop the dead from returning and not murdering people as they are being accused of.

The game will start with a poor farm boy whose father has died under mysterious circumstances. He is in the woods chopping wood when he slips into a ravine and finds himself at his fathers grave. There are apparently some grave robbers stealing the remains so the boy enters the nearby mausoleum that has been broken into. He quickly finds the cult responsible and with only his aging wood axe stops them from performing their next ritual. From there the rest of the plot will unfold with more and more dangerous monsters as he goes until he is finally able to stop the cult."

I scanned over your post a few times on the train and must have missed that.  Apparently I wasn't the only one.  I don't think spelling out the title of the mod in the thread subject or headline of the post is brain surgery, nor asking a lot.  I mean, if you want people to bother reading, anyway.

At an early alpha like this, I cared less what the name was, I knew it as rotaci (pronounced row-tacky). Worked for me

Nice job, though. I love the maps. Note, though, uh.. if you want me to re-animate those weapons don't hesitate to ask. It'll stop a lot of people from throwing up :p

It's not the title of the mod. It's the name of the clan producing it. I now expect you to demand Focalor to spell out EoM every time he advertises the friday night frag fest.

You're right, my point was totally invalid.  Wanting to know wtf your thread is about is totally unreasonable.  I should care enough to just absorb your ramblings and decipher them on my own time.  From now on, don't worry about clearly articulating yourself or conveying cohesive thoughts.  Let's go all stream-of-consciousness from here on out.
