Want a bit of advice about your computer chair?
Buy a PILLOW for your wooden one!Really.
I went through a bunch of those rolling swivel type chairs, and I learned one thing:they are flimsey as hell. What I am using now is a chair that is possibly older than me:a solid wooden highbacked chair that was old when I was a kid.It will survive me undoubtedly.I bought cushions for it only a few years ago,and my ass is content.Just stuff them in a pillowcase for easy cleaning.

bah! tags are overrated anyway...
Sorry to hear about your family, adam.... I say go to a recycling center and jump into the computer/electronics bin and see if you can't make yourself a super-monitor from all the parts you find!

Heh, The problem is, my mom and my -was going to be- step dad (actual dad died last october) were going to get married, however a month before the wedding date they broke up after 9 years!
and my mum didnt do good at school so she was on dss (180 something a week) for us 3 (baby ben wasnt born then) however martin - the was to be stepdad supported my mom cause he owns a business in fiberglass showers which has been going a year now, but now my moms back on the dss with 4 kids, (but we get 22 each for every child she has so tahts another 88 a week) things are gonna be tighter than they were before hand, they'l be alright though, it just means if i want somethin over 100 pounds she'll give me say 80 of it and ill have to put the rest towards it
so its not that bad.. one decent thing is though, martin, is actually BUYING this new house for us (were moving on friday) and its 250,000 pounds (quarter of a mil) so its pretty cool.

two reasons - 1 - little ben is his son, 2 - because he is loaded (he wasnt when my mom met him) and my mom gave up her security for him and her old house for him and now we dont got one.
