I got my beta key to download the demo this morning. So pumped.
Uses the same engine as COD4 but is set in WWII. Interesting.
Instead of calling in a support chopper @ 7 kills in a row you call in a pack of Dogs that hunt down the opposition and attack them. LOL camper patrol.
Anyone else going to buy this game when it comes out?

It's really gritty. If COD4 was meant to be dry with all it's sun bleached looks and bleak pallette then this one is dark and dirty.
Only tried two rounds on the same map and it's an Island fishing village at night. Lit only by the pale moonlight it offers great ambush-ability and when you throw the flare everything goes from dark blue to bright white.

The maps are much larger than COD4.
Roundhouse, being an example, is a large industrial trainyard/switching station with derilict trains, decrepid factories, and large grain loader/silo structures. There is room for two tanks to operate and it's downright tense when someone releases a pack of dogs on you because you can hear the growl in their barking and the clink of their chains when they are hunting you down.
