I''m watching CNN today and they're talking about the 40th anniversary of the US landing on the moon. It also mentions 6% of the population still thinks it was a fake staged event - which blows my mind. That's around 20 million people. Anyway one of the more aggressive conspiracists is a guy named Bart Sibrel who follows the 3 astronauts around and get's in their face calling them liars etc. Buzz Aldrin was one of the guys in the module and also walked on the moon. Here's what happens when a 37 year old Sibrel ambushes Aldrin (72) with his camera crew and forces his idiocy on Aldrin.

Is it very surprising when Aldrin and Armstrong don't like to make public appearances when clowns Sibrel are likely to be there? If I were them I'd be seeking a 1000 yard injunction against him. Just being within earshot of him is enough to make you angry. These are celebrity junkies, they get their kicks from the noteriety they gain by going up against celebrities.

Armstrong and Aldrin and Collins and all the astronaut teams were part of a much, much larger team. The fact it was their footprints on the moon is a product of their skills and fortunate circumstance. You have to admire their humility. It must really piss them off to have their integrity challenged by losers like Sibrel.

The only bad thing about that video is that Sibrel didn't get knocked out or tossed on his ass. I'd have punched him in the throat.

Not surprisingly, Geraldo on Fox News last night had Mark Siebel on, presenting his conspiracy theory denying the reality of the Apollo 11 mission and talking about their YouTube videos. Strangely, they ignore the subsequent landings. Bill Nye was also interviewed to present the contrary points. Anniversary of Apollo 11 landing is today.

In regards to the wow reaction btw, seriously there was a time (long gone, i dont really care about wow anymore thankfully) where I wouldnt be hard pressed to imagine myself doing the same, albeit obviously with less ferocious screaming and blatant acting, I would have raged so hard. unless you've spent the amount of time someone like myself has actually playing the "game" (it becomes more of a second life) then you probably couldnt understand why someone would rage like that, there are a surprising amount of people who really would. I think last I did a /played count on all 5 of my chars, it amounted up to something like 390 days of ACTUAL PLAYED TIME, 390 x 24 hour periods. mostly on my Warrior and my Mage, (180 on mage before I rerolled, gotta be a good 150 on my warrior now). and the rest spread out, ive been playing it for maybe 2 and a half 3 years tops. that is a LOT of time to spend and it really does feel like 'real material' as you described your mapwork and whatnot peewee. it's pathetic but once you're in its clutches theres no escaping unless well you have wow developers lol, wow devs are fucking idiots.
