Well I've been plugging along on the amd k7 800 since 2000 so I've been wanting to get "new" before Doom3 came out.
The plan was to build my own, but the game is out and I've fiddled away all my build time (I want one now!!!!) so I said "fuck it" and custom ordered one from ABS.

AMD 64 3500
1Gig of Corsair 3200
nVidia 6800 GT 256mg
2 80 gig maxtors (160 gig raid0)

all delivered to my work place (please hurry!!)

hopefully it will last me another 4 years

went out and bought a desk yesterday and assembled it (what a pain in the ass) and while I was there I picked up DOOM3.

So if the dadgum monitor would get here I'd be in business.

if you dont wanna dish out for cable see if your in range for the 26$/month dsl plan its 1.5/down /128k up or you can get the 3.0mbdow/384 up for like 36 a month would be more worth it imho
