I would imagine the WallFly entity has a lot to do with that. If you have a client in game, anything chatted would be transmitted to it and the process could pass it to the live stream.

I believe qwazy is right on there.

From what I've heard wallfly is a very limitted custom q2 client that among other things, logs the chatter and relays it to an irc bot which goes by the name "uvula" who then regurgitates it into tastyspleen-live.

it's quite a cool system.

Wrong server then i would suggest.

goto File/Select Server - top left of screen. Choose EnterTheGame-Random server. You would also find this in your Options/Connect
