To reply to myself, I must point out my surprise in listening to this song again, that the lyrics seem to convey a broad attack against fascism and totalitarianism.

Something that wasn't as evident to me in my teens, when I was more content with simply laughing at the "balls to the wall" refrain.

To reply to myself, I must point out my surprise in listening to this song again, that the lyrics seem to convey a broad attack against fascism and totalitarianism.

Something that wasn't as evident to me in my teens, when I was more content with simply laughing at the "balls to the wall" refrain.

I kind of took their lyrics as Germans who were struggling with English and trying to sound nihilistic. They're a bit silly but the metal/rock is good.

And to Lidz - Riders on the Storm has always had that "driving at night" feel to it for me also.
