I noticed that during my first install run I clicked the location where I had q2 installed but it did not update the install directory.

After trying again I double clicked the directory where I had Q@ installed and it updated the path.

berserker is there a way that you could re-code your "setup.exe" to update the install location field with one click on the directory tree?

Hmmm, I found out something interesting. What makes me go

on this client are the screenshots, but when my friend showed me how his client gameplay looked, the image quality was much better. He told me about some setting I can't quite remember. It has to do something with Nvidia 4 something on the Video options menu.

Bers@Q2 have a lot of render paths (quote from my booth):

ATI4: using ATI's fragment shaders and 4 GPU's conveyers

ARB4: using ARB vertex and fragment programs and 4 GPU's conveyers
ARB6: using ARB vertex and fragment programs and 6 GPU's conveyers
Simple render path for old GPUs with 2 conveyers; no lighting and shadows.

nVidia4 - is not the best render path. Use it for old GF3 or GF4.
I recomend to use ARB6 for best image quality.

Newer cards tend to have drivers that force texture compression no matter what, even if you try your best to force RGBA8.

I created a new feature now: attached lights to any alias model vertex.
I will use this for some monsters and weapon.
