Silent Keyboard

My PC is in a common family area where others sometimes fall asleep. I'm looking for a "silent keyboard", especially for the late-nite rail action.  Most of the stuff I'm seeing is rubber coated - which I'm sure is more quiet - but will it have the sensitivity I need? Anybody have experience with this type keyboard? I would appreciate any feedback you can give me.
