But i have spoken to him on many servers and he has seem to have grown up.
Its a bit unfair on his brother too as they share the same ip address, maybe give them a trial and see how it goes?
Just a second chance, i am not vouching for them, but just asking for a second chance for them?
I understand if the answer is a straight NO as i dont know the history, but worth a try

wetarded used to be a noob pain in the arse and, looking through the 'hall of shame' logs, this silence was certainly warranted.
I'm guessing wetarded was about 13 or 14 when he was spamming that crap.  Now he's a very good jumper, you don't get to be that good without dedicated practising which requires a certain mental discipline - which he never used to have.

I think he's more than learned his lesson (I would have) that his spamming and bullshit will not be tolerated.  What harm could a week's trial really do?  The kid's a couple of years older now and, hopefully, a bit more mature.  I've said this before: I don't like him but fair is fair - he's done his time and still keeps coming to the server despite his permamute.  He doesn't votespam like some people (e.g. 187 slugs, His Face) which can be extremely annoying and offputting.  Give him his chance.

Anyway, the people who said no - Why?  Am I missing something here?

so he's like 15 tops now.

As I recall tho, his spamming wasn't just on the jump servers.
Every time he'd join a server, he'd spam 5 goto commands simultaneously to go to jump from whatever server he decided to join but not actually play, so everyone else would get a chat sound explosion in their speakers, and a big colorful 5 line blurb of the same message on their screen announcing his passing through.

afaik he's still a button masher with annoying binds, and no clue that shit like that bugs the crap out of people who are trying to play.

Is there any proof at all that he's learned anything since then?
He obviously didn't get it after being warned, considering that he persisted and got permamuted.

The lack of him bitching about being muted could easily be attributed to his inability to type messages on the server, so I wouldn't take that as a sign of increased maturity.

His increased ability at jumping could also be attributed to his current inability to spam, which was afaik his favorite activity, and took up most of the time he was on the servers.

And on a side note, his brother should have smacked him upside the head, so I don't feel sorry for him sharing the mute.
He had a better chance than any of us to stop that shit, and neglected to do so, forcing the admin's hand.

I agree and yes, if wetarded still wanted to annoy people he would still be doing things like changing his name every sec or doing votes and reconnecting. He has been doing absolutley nothing wrong every time i have seen him he just comes in and jumps then leaves. He is a very good jumper.

The reason he doesn't name change spam is because he had had his name recently forced to be wetarded or get kicked when does change it, because as usual he continually tries to evade the perm mute by either trying to  talk via name change or diconning / reconning quickly and spitting out a few words.

IMO he doesn't  deserve a chance at this time.

I could go connect to the same server with 2 instances of q2, running different player names, right this very second from this computer.

Try it yourself.

unless you've seen both of them actually jumping simultaneously theres a chance that it's just an excuse.
(the same excuse we heard when he first got muted, and then continuously tried to evade it until he was disciplined for that as well)

anyone could alt+tab between 2 running clients and chat up a storm.
