I can't make music cause the boy has no rythm. Besides there are so many great musicians that do that better than I could ever do. I can draw and paint to some degree though, but haven't done it in years now, but love to start doing it again one day. Maybe when I get old. Just waiting for the day to come. I can write though, I just need to write something all the time, but I save my

Haha, so true. They're babbling nonsense but I love it.

His voice is very musical so as soon as he starts singing, it really adds to the song.

Stone Roses is an awesome band. There are particularly many other bands that are in Manchester at that time.

There are too many to list.

There is much research to do for you guys if interested. Look up 'Madchester' 'Post punk' for starters.

Speaking of obscure British bands, I really liked this band back around 1970-->72. They had odd time signatures in their music and were somewhat classically oriented. They were way, way ahead of their time musically and had little, if any commercial success. A trio with keyboards, bass and drums. They had 3 albums and then disappeared. If you know these guys, then you know your music. Here's one of their album covers:

Seriously...how do you know them? I've got a good reason...I bought both their albums 35 years ago. But unless there's some kind of progressive rock revival somewhere, they're pretty obscure.

I use to have a habit of going to old record stores and buying stacks of records. Coming from a family of music fanatics as well, I have piles of records. Just one of those bands I came across in my music travels.

Nothing better than buying a random record, with no idea what it will be. Starting it up and hearing some cool stuff is what music is about. I feel sorry for kids these days who rarely have that option, usually it all comes from a website or mtv, hyping things up. Faceless music is almost gone these days.
