Um... BULLSHIT! I remember when I started college. It was just a local community college where I could've applied the credits towards a full degree at UGA if I could've transfered there after 2 years. But I had to take some bottom level remedial math course in order to advance to the actual college level math courses I would've needed in order to get the degree I was working for. From page fucking ONE of the remedial math course, I was completely and utterly LOST. I ended up failing the same course twice (the only course I didn't pass), and because of 2 failing grades, I was put on "academic probation" which meant that if I got just one more failing grade, they would've made me sit out one semester. I ended up voluntarily taking the next semester off with the excuse that I'd work to get money to pay for the next semester. I never went back. So... From my experience, there IS NO SUCH THING as getting "too ahead" in high school. Someone should slap the piss outta whoever said those words to you.

Yeah, I wish I could slap that bitch across the face. And you would think that it were easier to get ahead in a small magnet school like that. I spent the next 6 years of my life hating where I was in math. Odd enough when I transferred to another High School I found the counselors there were too passive... "uhhh well can I take PreCal over the summer at PCC?" Counselor: "Yeah sure, just sign this"

In 11th grade the first semester I was taking 7 classes!!! They didn't even tell me that I should consider not doing that

Funny though, when you go to College/University/Junior College you can literally take every math class that you took in high school in an entire year! But they don't want kids to 'get ahead' LOL I call bull shit on the system.

btw, I can't believe community colleges give people only 1 semester. In the Los Angeles Community Colleges, they put you on Probation dismissal for 2 SEMESTERS!

And then, they make you write a petition letter to see if you can be considered to come back

So, you never went back to college?

California want's their education system to suck. It's no surprise when I read that Computer Science jobs are being outsourced to another country

I'm not sure what it is NOW, or what would've happened after getting expelled for a semester. I imagine there would've been something like an administrative review in order to allow me to continue.

Nope. I was too busy working and then blowing all my money partying, getting drunk, getting stoned, and taking girls out. It's not like the college I was going to was all that expensive either. I was swinging working AND going to school for at least one semester, granted I was only taking 2 or 3 classes 2 days a week and working the other 5, so I didn't have any off days. If I went back now, chances are all the classes I've taken wouldn't count for anything and I'd have to start all over. But alas, I don't think I'm quite cut out for the corporate world anyway. Sure, it'd be nice to make a bunch of money, but I'd probably have to have some miserable office job I'd hate to death after a week of doing it. In my opinion it's better to be poor, happy, and have a little time to live life rather than being rich, unhappy, and no time to do shit else but work.
