Greetings,

We now have a QuakeWorld server set up at tastyspleen.net:27500 (74.54.186.226:27500) for all of you QuakeWorld players

It's running in FFA mode currently on the default port, and we will have a teamplay/duel server following soon.

Current map rotation is:

a2
aerowalk
dm2
death32c
dm3
cmt1b
dm4
cmt2
cmt3
cmt4
dm6
cmt5b
ztndm3
schloss
skull
q1edge

Server settings:
mvdsv + KTX mod
maxclients 12
20 timelimit
40 fraglimit

Don't hesitate to request more information, map additions, or changes in the set-up.

Sigma, the client for QuakeWorld that is most-used nowadays is probably the EZQuake / nQuake. You can pick up a copy at http://ezquake.sourceforge.net/ / http://nquake.com/

I prefer darkplaces, but just like doom 3, if nobody else has cool looking shadows enabled then you're at a disadvantage.
