I've got a band but we haven't recorded nothin yet (been goin for bout 4 years now). Did Hip-Hop previous to that however, and I do have samples together I can upload sometime (just gotta mix the samples, but its pretty good if you're into the Hip-Hop scene). As far as your mixing software goes, I would recommend getting ProTools - its a winner. Download a free edition at http://www.digidesign.com

This is from 2002, the band I was in at the time was called Six Mile Cross.
We recorded this in the spare bedroom of the house I was renting.
I think the guitar solo in it is probably my personal favorite, it's sort of
weird but what the hell. It took me about 1/2 hour to come up with and
learn to play it.

I like the moon one, it's real doom-metal sounding. I really like the way you used the bends, and I also really liked your lead, especially towards the end.

OK, here's a recording of my band Cavity Search. We're only a week or two old, so our stuff is still a little rough. This is a song that I wrote (with the exception of the lyrics), called Pie Man. The guitar solo is intentionally crappy, we were doing a visual gag where I would go crazy soloing, and end up on the floor on my back playing guitar with my teeth. 'twas a sight to behold.

hahaha thanks. We definitely had alot of fun doing that one. We'll have a better recording of it soon (meaning one that wasn't recorded on a video camera)

I hope that people continue to post audio samples.

This is the way music gets shared.. not by millions of wasted dollars on Britney ads. Some people have an expectation that music is something that record companies make by organizing "special" people to record it so that it gets marketed to you for you to buy at a store. When it is pure creative communication, interactive, social! Anyone can make music. Great people make music.
