Position available for QuakeCon tourney coverage team.

Greetings,

QuakeCon 2008 is getting closer and closer and everyone is making up their plans for the event. For those unfamiliar with QuakeCon, you can read up on http://quakecon.org . It's a huge 'Quake Convention' housing prize-influenced  tournaments and the beloved 'BYOC' (Bring your own computer) area with about 2700 spots for people to bring their own computers and play on a LAN.

We (QuakeUnity.com) have some spots open for anyone who wants to help with coverage of the 2008 QuakeCon official tournaments.  The coverage team's job involves: obtaining footage of the players, obtaining the quake demos, and editing it all into a several avi's. We would also like to have someone dedicated to commentating the matches to provide some audible play-by-play.  There will be a computer set up in the BYOC area with the Vegas AVI software loaded onto it for doing this work. We will not need to cover every single match, but the semi-finals and finals... the more popular matches.

Requirements:

• ~ Some experience with video editing and/or commentary is preferred.
• ~ Experience with the entire line of Quake games
• ~ Must be 18+
• ~ A dedication to your job is needed. There is plenty of time to goof off and enjoy yourself, but you need to be aware of your responsibilities.
