We didn't make the map, just tweaked the entities with an override to make it playable with out a 'hook'.

It may appear again on special occasions... (or full moons )

I've always wanted to make a Q2 map that has a lot of gags and humor. A tiny Edge would be perfect. Be nice to make a total parody of the "holy grail" of serious competition. I can see the outside lift tht crushes you at the top under some glass barrier, teleporters that send you to pits of lava, spawn points in cages for easy killing, edge weapons in all the wrong places etc etc.
The evil mind boggles.....

and signs that tell:" camp here" or " way of the chain". That points to the chaingun and some smaller arrows point a route through the map where you pass all the bullet pickups. get the idea....

Made me feel small and slow and i thought i had the crouch key pressed, too
Really fun. Hopefully next time there are players, too

I added that stuff with an entity override to try to make the map more playable without a hook.

I put health (and rockets) so that you can rocket jump up the boxes... there is also a rocket launcher placed nearby.

You won't see the extra entities, unless you either play on a tastyspleen.net server, or download the .override file (and use r1q2 locally.)

You should be able to download the override file by joining a server and typing:

download maps/q2dm1_huge.bsp.override
