Help With Jumping

I've been watching alot of players seeing exactly what makes a great player great, now I know that good jumps and movement is really what sets good players from great players (not for all, but a good portion) so I was wondering if anyone can give me a good rundown on their jumps and how they do them.  Im going to be practicing alot on jumpmod to help get my movement down and because im doing that I might as well learn how to play jumpmod well--any imput?

here's a stickied thread that daelmun started with some good descriptions of the various types of jump that one can do in q2.
it's all fairly general, but it cant hurt to know the theory behind the jumps you're doing.

here are some demos of specific jumps. some of these have helped me a great deal, when it comes to figuring out how to set up jumps and execute them.

Be sure to use proper fps. More fps, less chance to perform double jump on standart small boxes.

DM server is fucked. 2 point blank rockets from spawn and lava damage and player survived? WTF?" Also someone has fucked with the spawn points, every single time no matter how big the map you spawn right in front of the person who killed you last
