heyas

i use Wikipedia all the time, everyday. and i thought "why the fuck doesnt TS have a page"
so... id like to bring the community together and add a page about tastyspleen to Wikipedia

i dont know much about editing on Wikipedia, iv only done it twice
but for those who know alot more, we would need you to get us going

tastyspleen is the last of the quake2 community, i think we deserve a slice of this popular webpage
it might bring more users here, we could link this on the quake2 article they already have

While I support the idea of a tastyspleen wikipedia page, I don't think I can contribute to it myself. I think wikipedia has rules forbidding writing articles about your own stuff. (?)

there currently is no wikipedia entry for tastyspleen
hence why iv made this suggestion

There are still other quake 2 communities still alive. Gloom communities, KotS communities, Acme CTF (less of a refuge and more of a refuse), r1ch.net, Jay Dolan and his work, War§ow, DDAY (which from what i hear is dying off), foreign AQ2 leagues, and Paril and his work on the Generations project. Oh and don't count out the TFQ crowd.

Tastyspleen I would say is the best run and maintained of the lot.

While I support the idea of a tastyspleen wikipedia page, I don't think I can contribute to it myself. I think wikipedia has rules forbidding writing articles about your own stuff. (?)

Hrmm... Well....... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tastyspleen I typed something short and sweet...they have some major issues and guidelines ... apparently they have a whole book of rules.

At the bottom of Quake 2 Tastyspleen is listed under the external links...and R1Q2 has one.

There should be a Tastyspleen one.
