I like to see the flop as much as possible in poker because any 2 cards can win.  there is some bad suck outs i know,  but you got to play the cards to win ;)

I'm sorry but I think texas hold 'em ruined the world of poker. I don't gamble, but everyone has played poker for pennies before. Heck my family even played something called "blind baseball" once where you can only look at the first 2 cards while betting.

In my opinion, Texas Holdem is to poker as American Gladiators is to prefessional sports.
(and yes my wife paused that show last night to find out the score  :ohlord:)

I stay around for the flop to see if i got a good hand before i fold. unless someone goes all in before the flop. then i might fold.

i have no clue what "texas hold'em" actually is.  Can someone explain?  Me & my friends always play 5 & 7 card with varying rules (I like having all hearts wild... and I don't get one heart).

TEXAS HOLD'EM

everyone is dealt 2 cards and then there is a round of betting (preflop) 

once everyone bets the dealer lays down 3 community cards, this is called the flop.  everyone is to use these 3 cards to try to make a hand.
there is another round of betting, then the next community card is dealt called the turn card.
Yes another round of betting, and then finally the river card (5th community card)  is dealt

so basically you got 2 cards no one can see and the 5 on the table to make a hand.

i prefer the way me & my friends play.  A similar variation: we each get three cards down & two up.

DM server is fucked. 2 point blank rockets from spawn and lava damage and player survived? WTF?" Also someone has fucked with the spawn points, every single time no matter how big the map you spawn right in front of the person who killed you last
