Any COD4 players out there? Picked up the game recently and all I can say is... amazing. Since my new system the last "new" FPS I had purchased was Quake 4. I have now bought the big titles like Crysis, UT3, Bioshock, etc... but after playing COD4 I have no interest in going back to those others. The game play totally kicks ass and looks and moves spectacular. With all settings on max it feels smoother then Quake 2... they did a really good job developing this game.

I have it for the 360 and I agree. Was reading some dev comments and they actually used less polys on the models than in COD2 but because of the latest hardware advances they are able to make it look soooooo much better.

Multiplayer us unbeleivable... you rank up and unlock different weapons and attachments. Like an M16A rifle with a silencer, with RPG, UAV Jammer, and Dead Silence perks I run around the level dispensing secret death like an assasin.

Going to hop on multiplayer tonight. Got the game last night and beat the single player fairly quickly, was kind of short. Thanks for the tip!

Well what difficulty did you play it on? It's short but sweet....did you enjoy the nuke aftermath scene?

I have COD4 on PS3. It is hands down one of the best FPS I've played and multiplayer is hella fun.

Yeah I did it on Normal too. I've been trying to get past the Overpass to Warpig the tank in that nighttime ambush with the Flare but it's been really tough with barely any cover in Veteran.

Shadow, yeah I think the multiplayer is the best.

I have the RPG as my first perk in almost all of my custom classes. Nothing beats a room busting blast while someone flashbangs the room at the same time, they get blinded and stunned while the rest of the squad rushes in and cleans up. It was a flaw in the 360 beta where you would cause the opponent to stand up if he was crouched and got stunned/blinded. Made for some great 50cal Barret Snipe shots on guys who were sitting in a 2nd storey window, sniping.

Ok redid the game again tonight. Still trying to get use to all this proning and crouching stuff... played hardened, which did take a little more time, wasn't able to finish it in one night. But I did make it to my favorite level, the one where you're with another sniper wearing gilly suits, stealthing behind enemy lines. By far the best looking part of the game on my system, for directx9 this part of the game is pushing into directx10 territory.

i finished the singleplayer last night. Have it for my brother and father too. Only a couple minutes in MP, but it doesnt seem to be running smoothly on my machine in MP for some reason. Getting pwned HARD! hehe. Only one perk so far, went sniper.

I'm at Lvl.52 in the Multiplayer on XBox Live, jsut unlocked my Barret 50cal sniper and the MP44 commonly seen in WWII. Going to stay @ levell 55 when I acheive it and unlock all the golden guns (gold AK, D.Eagle, etc) after passing all the challenges.

Loced single player, hate multiplayer. to boring. just run around with machine guns? BF2 ruined cod4 for me and no game compares to the physics of q2.

Where do you COD4 PC gamers play at? I need some servers... a good FFA/TDM server that isn't some clans custom dick dipping mod.
