A great third person perspective shooter in its own right,with bright visuals and clever weaponry,this also is a fine addition to the oldschool game library.Magic themed,you had both defensive and offensive abilities based on a mana system,and the best hand to hand weapon ever to grace a shooter:the bladestaff.And if there are still servers out there for it,expect most to be Bladestaff duels only.And best of all it was co-op too.

Yeah, Heretic 2 was sweet.  Very fun game, I enjoyed the SP mode quite a bit.  I only had dial-up back when I tried playing MP, and it blew hardcore.  Was a sweet game though, I finished the SP mode, and enjoyed it a lot.

gotta love this bitch (if its on pc), cause it has an 9.3 out of 10.0 according to gamespot.

im ready to fire it up again on my pc, load up my favorite mp3 music, and finally try to to beat this game. i almost finished all of asukas missions like to the end of the game, except i didnt beat one of kenji's missions.

havent in a while, but when I did play it was ggl dallas for promode and some chi ip for ra3, although I think the ra2 clan I'm in has a ra3 server now so I suppose I could play there, I just never feel like playing q3 anymore on a reg basis

last year when I started gaming again I got into it cuz I fugured more people played q3, but after a while I realized almost as many people play q2 tdm as q3 tdm, so I kinda gave up on it. promode is more of a 1v1 mod anyways, and I like to play other games (other than q2 I mean) for the teaming, to see how diff strats work. I guess I would play more but there's not much of a learning curve when it comes to q2/q3 1v1 in dm, you just have to stick it out until you are decent, and I don't like q3 enough to get good at it, maybe if they hadn't taken out the chaingun, I might feel differently about it.

in q3 teams theres no weapon dropping, no positions to hold, no binds really and since the weapons spawn every 15 secs there's virtually nothing to control, so its basically just everyone team ffa'ing, which in my book is real gay. it just seems like every game built after q2 is newb friendly like that, so I always end up coming back to this right here. :P

I found many tricks (to go quicker by strafing alternatively (but now they fixed it)) and many nice hiding spots...

well, to let everyone know, ill also be playin continuum/subspace (on the desert storms server) and i thinking about expanding my clan as a multi gamed clan, meaning that i might start up {SX} continuum divison, as i have for quake 2. so anyone here that plays continuum/subspace knows where to find me

Likewise, though i dont know how you can say the map design was better.. i cant stand the map design in q3, seems like there's a jump pad round every corner (if there are corners)
