the server has been alot of fun.

Pretty fast paced, it really changes the routes up, and makes you think quite a bit harder about all the stupid stuff you want to pull knowing there is no safety net of rebuilding your health.

Currently you spawn with shotgun in hand, ten shells, and two grenades, but thinking about switching to 'nades in hand and shotgun in inventory. Seems like it would speed up an already fast paced game.

randomly switches all players to a specific weapon after a certain amount of time

that mod would compliment this so well

sounds interesting, but i know there seems to be higher pings on the tx. servers for almost everyone.
Is this something you're trying to fix or just leaving it as be?

I know that Gator has made several attempts to work with layeredtech support about the issue, and I'm pretty sure Gator is a little frustrated with it at this point.

Hahaha... I just found part of the problem. The tx servers are using "sv_calcpings_method 1" whereas the rest of the servers use "sv_calcpings_method 2".

I changed it to "2" on the tx servers, and my ping there is now the same as on tastyspleen.net.

It didn't fuck anything up... It just means the extra "ping" was imaginary.

Now, if some people are STILL getting higher pings on tx, then, there is probably also some network issue. All I can say is that I myself (west coast) am now getting the same ping on tx as tastyspleen.net.
