Intentional Flame - My Hate For Jump

i would like to fully advertise my hate for this mod, and the users who play it
on with the flame keep in mind that this is also ment to be humorous so try and laugh too


1. Jump mod is for people with no skill

i have come to realize that the jump mod can not make someone a better player as a whole
it only focuses on jumping, which is only a small part in quake2

of course, there is only so much you can do to improve this
so why is it that someone could possibly find this fun over normal quake2 all the time?

THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE: This is the only thing people can do

2. Jump mod is for people rejected from normal quake2

its hard not to notice all the losers that play on the jump server
you dont see them anywhere else but there. i have given it the name "Pro Vanilla Server"
after the original vanilla (aka the nub server)

some are obvious, some are not. but there all here because they think it will make them a better player
and therefor, more popular. which is simply not true at all ( SEE: 1.)

3. Conclusion

so you see, jump mod is nothing but a cesspool. the garbage dump of quake2 if you will

Is there a reason for this attack?  Is it of such serious nature that its worth dragging the rest of BTF in with you by making malicious posts wearing that tag?

LOL i agree with Gator, i am an ex BTF clan member and i got on with all BTF players and even with my high ping of 150 i still kicked ass,and i would probably kick your ass in a duel especially railz,dont believe me? Ask gator or Rogal, them 2 guys are good lads, i had a laugh and a good time with them 2 throughout my time in BTF, unfortunatelly i dont play DM much anymore so i quit the clan as i play jump more as i got bored of shooting people all the time. same shit different day all the time, change is nice, thats why i migrated to jump, so shut the fuck up and get your facts right before attacking the jump mod, why not try it yourself one time, i bet you will enjoy it  or are you too noob to try something different? HAHA Cake toilets!!!

Sounds perfect for me, I can't play 1v1s, TDM pickups, FFA or anything else for that matter with any semblance of skill! Of course, I can't jump either...

Although, I would think that the skills that jumpers have (heh yeah, there's some skill trying to get the fastest time and all via proper jump execution and studying the map to figure out what jumps should be executed) would easily translate to speedrunning. Hell, the jump mod practically is speedrunning in a sense. So, go to it! I wanna see more Quake done Quick vids! Or take your skills to other games, try a run of Bionic Commando (my lame personal best is the 30 minute mark).

They are usally full of respect and maturity, so i'm left woundering exactly what "from the likes of him" meant.
Lets study this a moment shall we. "From the likes of him"?
Do you mean good players with good attitudes who can go from DM to Jump and do fairly well in both?. Players who is always respectful to others in the servers?
