i have made a decision. im quiting quake2 for good

i dont wish to be part of it at all anymore
the community has just grown so far beyond the scope that it was a year ago
and even 2 years ago when i joined here

just to many losers running the show now
even within my own clan, which has totally fallen apart as well

this is not something that just popped into my head today,
this was something that i have felt for a long time now, and has just gotten worse up until this point

im done guys, and im sorry

maybe ill be back sometime in the future
but i cant say for sure

iv been a long standing player here
i think quadz will be cool and keep it up

there others that asked for space and havent even used it yet at all
not to mention not being here

as far as my leaving, ii think its for the best
i may pop in once in a while, but thats it
if i ever do return in full, i certainly wont be doing it under a btf tag

I agree. No offense, but I rarely ever see you make any kind of positive contribution around here as of recently. I rarely ever see you on ts servers either. The only times I have had interactions with you are when I just turn the other cheek to your derogatory and very idiotic comments in #btf, not to mention all the times you have kicked me from that channel unprovoked. In my book, you've always been the person who pesters others out of boredom, which has worked for you in BTF being that it's rare that any1 will pester you back.

I wish you luck in leaving, but saying that you're fed up with how btf and TS are run is ridiculous with the aforementioned things being true. Perhaps q2 would be a little more fun for you if literally every time I said something in #btf you weren't practically waiting at your keyboard to give me a immediate ignorant response. I 100% agree with reflex, q2 is what you make of it. Xtyfe, you may have other reasons for leaving, but as far as interpreting your actions go it seems that you don't care to have fun in the game anymore, hence the constant immaturity.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but with the improper reasoning you gave for leaving I think it was necessary for you to have a different perspective on your situation.

I dont know you and I dont care for you really. Ive only had 2 interactions with you. Once on TS railz where you talked shit to me without provocation... the 2nd where you came to MKTDM and got your ass handed to you. Yes, i still remember... newbie. Your game needs work. ROFL.

Perhaps its not BTF or TS that you should put the blame on... perhaps you should take a look at yourself. Im surprised that Gator and company have tolerated your bad attitude and poor sportsmanship all these yrs. You certainly didnt make BTF look good

posting a goodbye on a message board is not a good thing to do either,

when you feel like quiting, then just stop posting.

if you decide to come back there is never any animosity, only "Hi where have you been?"
