what kind do you use? and what is the best gaming pair

Some logitec set, over the ear, behind the head, with a solid mic shaft that broke off after a week or 2.
it has a volume and mic switch halfway down the cord, which is starting to get a lil on the fritz...
I'd reccomend something else

I figure if its good for music its prolly good for gaming.
Just want a good response range, long cord, and wearable for prolonged periods

They sound good but holy fucking christ you lose the blood in your ears. They fucking hurt. Not worth the money due to the comfort issue... Who the hell designed these things.

i got the sennheisers on sale for like 75 or 80 dollars awhile ago, they are the silver kind though (very comfortable and great sound quality)

Yeah. They have these slots for your ear lobs to fit through. If to put the head phones on right the mic on the right side only your left earlobe will fit through the slot where your right one won't. The fucked up when they designed them or something because if you flip them the other way only your right earlobe will fit... wtf.

Ahh ok. Headphones... I always think headsets when I think of headphones + gaming. Can you suggest any decent headsets?
