I'd really like to know the setting that puts your FPS on the screen while jumping. I can always see, whizzard's fps when spectating but not other jumpers.
On certain replays you can see the fps they are using. This is very useful information.
The "visible fps" settings in jumpmod are confusing.....or am I using the wrong settings?
If I could just have a HUD reading of my current 'cl_maxfps' I might be able to jump quicker sometimes hehe
What's the deal with this sometimes visible and sometimes invisible fps? Is there a setting in r1q2 that let's me see mine realtime etc etc? How does it work exactly?

in r1q2 the command is "set cl_drawfps 1"
It will add a realtime FPS meter on the lower right of your HUD.

Yeah I know this cl_drawfps 1 but in jumpmod the map timer is drawn on top of it, obscuring it. Sometimes fps is drawn in big numbers on the bottom left of the screen...sometimes it isn't....that's the display I want. Wizzard has it but doesn't know how...so it's possible....very mysterious.

lmao, yeah i know the drawfps command, but its not that i do, what i do is connect to fusters dm, then connect to tastyspleens/vanilla and on vanilla i type goto jump, that is the only way i can get my fps displaying on the bottom left, no other way works for me, so if you can be arsed getting your fps to show thats the way i do it

Answer thanks to Hannibal who found out this.
type into console:
set cl_maxfps 60 u
then reconnect
maxfps can be anything ofc but after reconnecting FPS display should be in bottom left of screen. Works for my r1q2 anyway.

Quake II is not 27 years old. I refuse to accept THAT much time has gone by.

DM server is fucked. 2 point blank rockets from spawn and lava damage and player survived? WTF?" Also someone has fucked with the spawn points, every single time no matter how big the map you spawn right in front of the person who killed you last
