cool vids, nice to see them on youtube. everytime I search quake2 I find that gay "mind controlled" quake2 video or some gta video.

Should cite the players names and the songs being played, that would be cool. (not that I care about rights or anything like that lol I just want to know who I'm watching what what song is playing)

nice videos reflex, you should upload them to filefront or something with higher quality.. youtube ones are ok but id like to see who made the frags in the one you made with mixed players

Part of the video problem is the Quake 2 graphics format. When I take screenshots in Q2 and then render the TGA file to JPG there is always a blurring and 'smudging' of detail and color. And I really have to tweak it in a graphics program to see the detail. If you go TGA to BMP its pretty close but the file is too big. Something about the TGA format is unfriendly. I suspect the same deterioration occurs in the conversion of DM2 files to AVI, or MPG.

Capturing at a high res or using a good GL port like beefquake makes for good quality video.
