mymap has been added to the server, and a beginning maplist.  It is still a work in progress, and i am pretty distracted from giving much time to it or any gaming at all right now, but will keep working on it as time allows.

But at least you arent stuck on one silly map now.

I've added a "chaos" directory to our q2-uploads FTP server.

So feel free to upload all the chaos maps/textures/env's there. (Instructions can be found in the UPLOAD MAPS INSTRUCTIONS thread.)

Probably the best solution.  I have uploaded my entire Chaos data to those directories on tastyspleen.net.
I really hope I did it right because it took 2 hours to get all the data up.

We are still stuck on one silly map now, its just a different than last time. Now it chaosdm1 and mymap doesnt work 

But we are having fun for one map

I tried downloading the chaos files in de chaos mod directory but i get the following message :

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /quake/downloads/mods/chaos/all_chaosmaps.exe on this server.

Apache/1.3.33 Server at tastyspleen.net Port 80

Im getting the same message for every chaos file in the chaos directory.

I can download files from other mods directories with no problems.

Its working again. I downloaded the necessary files and now i can connect to the chaos server.

um...why?  if you can see 256 colors, you can play Q2 ya know.  A P2-600 can run Q2 in software @ 60fps easy.

Server seems to be stuck on chaosdm1 again and mymap still doesn't work....need to spawn with a grappling hook !!!

Hehe,Yer a know,but my graphics cards fan is bust,you can't see anything except square pixels in software mode.When I do use opengl it doesn't last very long until my pc freezes.Where does 1 get a cheap agp card online

an old card you can get on e-bay.

what type of machine you viewing the forums on?  That should be able to run Quake 2.   There's a port to ANYTHING that's ever existed!

Maplist is updated with new maps, and some of them are on mymap.

Um... in aprq2 at any rate, my fov gets reset to 90 every time I respawn... Anybody else get this?
