So everyone knows I have a server running with a beta test for a megaman mod that's way too early in production to be any fun. Since the start of the mod I've finally learned how to use Q2 Modeller. In order to model the sprites accurately I have to play the games and read all the wikipedia entries for every boss I decide to use.

Between this and conversation with other Megaman fans the following conversation came about:

At the annual robot masters convention:

Topman: "Hey Cutman, you got any asprin? My head is spinning"
Cutman: "Nah. Sorry..."
[cutman turns toward the open doors and yells]
Cutman: "Hey Gutsman! Be careful with that!"
Topman: "What is he bringing in"
Cutman: "Dr. Wily. He got crushed under another falling brick again"
Topman: "Not again. Oh man, and I just got a call from Metalman. He and the rest of the 2nd shift are running late."
[Gutsman sets down the block and approaches]
Gutsman: "That's a bummer. We can't reinflate Dr. Wily until airman gets here."
[Brightman walks by and joins the conversation]
Topman: "Can you turn it down man? I got a crazy headache!"
Brightman: "Sorry."
Gutsman: "Is anyone else hungry? Gutsman hungry"
Cutman: "Me too"
Topman: "Yeah it might help my head"
Brightman: "I got an idea! Are the 5th shift in yet?"
Topman: "Ow.. turn it down I said!"
Brightman: "Sorry."
Cutman: "Yeah they got here right before we did."
Brightman: "Good..."
[Brightman turns towards crowd]
Brightman: "Hey! Gyroman!"
[Gyroman yells back from a distance]
Gyroman: "What?"
Brightman: [still yelling] "Hey Gyroman! Can you make us a sandwich?"
Gyroman: "Yeah sure."
Gutsman: "Can you make that for 4? We're starving"
Gyroman: "O.k. I'll just need a second. I have charge up my blaster for that. You gonna be able to cut it?"
[everyone's gaze drifts towards Cutsman]
Cutsman: "Why are you looking at me? Alright. Yes I can cut it but I just got my head sharpened. I don't like to get food on it"
[Topman leaps into the air performing a major acrobatic feat to catch the flying 6 foot gyro]
Gutsman: "Gutsman likes his sandwich toasted"
Brightman: "I have an idea of how we could toast these subs. If only heatman were here."
[everyone's gaze now heads towards Brightman's glowing head]
[Brightman dims his light]
Brightman: "Hey now! You're thinking of my brother, Easy-Bake-Oven-man. I mean I hear Dr. Cossack is working on convectionman as we speak"
[Gutsman takes a step closer to Brightman]
Brightman: "No please. Do you know how expensive these 2million watt bulbs are?"
Cutman: "Hey look, the 2nd shift is here."
Brightman: "Hey Heatman! Want a sandwich?"
Heatman: "Sure. Wait you need it toasted don't you."
[Bombman approaches]
Bombman: "Hey, anyone got a light? Oh look toasted subs!"
Brightman: "Oh don't look now, plantman and his tree hugger bots are here"
[Plantman walks up wearing a tie dye shirt and holding a "stop global warming" sign]
Plantman: "Hey bright man. I see you still haven't changed to CFL's yet."
Cutman: "Well hi plant man. Looks like you need a pruning. Can I help you with that?"
Plantman: "Anyone ever tell you that your rolling cutter looks like rolling swastica? Eco-killing nazi!"
Gutsman: "Gutsman hates greeny weenies!"
Heatman: "Besides. Everyone knows that I'M the cause for global warming."
Bombman: "Yeah I mean there's a Fireman rip off in every shift. It's bound to get hot"
Heatman: "Don't compare me to that flamer. Besides. Look who's talking 'Crashman'."
Bombman: "I was here first!"
Brightman: "Guys, guys. Calm down. Let's just eat"
[a moment of silence follows as they go back to eating their toasted subs]
Brightman: "Besides. Everyone knows that Drillman had a better weapon anyhow"
Bombman: "That's it. You want to take this outside."
Plantman: "No. You're not destroying any more environment."
All at once: "Shut up, Plantman!"
Topman: "Stop yelling my head still hurts."
Cutman: "Nobody cares about your stupid head, Dradleman."
Topman: "Bring it on!"
Cutman: "I think your sandwich needs sliced again!"
[Cutman fires a rolling cutter]
[Topman gracefully dodges]
Plantman: "OWWW! My arm!"
Cutman: "Oh crap. Where's Ducttape man when you need him?"
