whats so bad about it ?

we do it all the time, its actually fun! I don't organize them tho, I mostly just watch.

most of the participants bring rotts, pitts, and sheps (some people will bring in stolen dogs and other pets).

its just a pastime hobby I enjoy, just lemme know if its really bad.

What operating system is running on the server host? I know nothing about WoW, but I'm interested in what you have to do to configure a private server. Do you have a shell account on the host? What all is involved?

I think once again, Om3ga is starting to show he's going to be the same old attention seeking idiot when it comes to these forums. I wonder how many people on this planet had to look up that dog fighting was illegal after the recent hooplah over some looser football player (My guess is 0, but I think 1 person pretended they had to look it up).

I sure wish somebody would pay me to host an illegal WOW server, but most of the people I know would rather pay the monthly fee than pay somebody else to run a server. Hopefully another couple of posts and console will realise he is being taken for a ride and put an end to this once and for all (I pray). You may be telling the truth Om3ga, and I apologize if you are, but you sound like a lunatic to me. End of Rant.

Console, to run a private WOW server, you use a WOW server emulator. There are quite a few server emulators running out there, none of them charge to play and most are not very good. The specs needed to run a WOW server are quite high, and most of the private servers will pause for a while every few minutes while they save data. Most of them also crash. It's also illegal and Blizzard appear to be very tough on taking these servers down compared to other publishers.

just did more research on dog fighting, and yea, it is illegal. from now on, I will abandon this type cruelty towards animals from now on.

You don't need to apologise for being a lunatic Om3ga, most of us are. I hope you will keep your commitment in abandoning cruelty to animals (although I don't believe you ever did this in the first place). I think you should just chill, tell the truth, and you will find that you don't need to lie to get attention. Be yourself, you have a good character, and you are probably a good person. You don't need a persona to be popular. Just chill and be yourself, and hopefully you won't get kicked.
