Howdy JC, good points you made.

I suggest these kids (for that matter, everyone) not only step away from their keyboard every onec in a while to enjoy real life, like you say, but get out of their asphalt and concrete jungle completely, occasionaly. It's nice to spend a couple weeks with no radio, tv, phone, pc ... no city noises like sirens, traffic, and thumping rap, which some call music. See what the sky really looks like during the daytime without the grey smog cloud, and at night absent the city lights washing out the stars and their natural light. Places like this in the US are getting fewer and farther between as each year goes by. Of course what's normal to me in this regard, I'm sure is way too extreme for most of you and out of the question.

Now on a more serious note, rofl hehe jajaja wtf!
BTW JC, how are you and the Mrs. doing ? ... umm

true, i know what its like to step in it willingly, but thats not always the case, i know i didnt get my heart broken a few times just because i was asking for it, theres just some things you gotta learn the hard way, but i do agree i have stepped into alot of bad shit and i could blame nobody but myself

i'm around for a good 12 to 16 hours a day. And that hasnt contributed to me having any skill...., so the theory fails in scientific experimentation.

Living IN the conrete jungle is kind of a bummer. What I miss most about my rural-by-comparison upbringing is the things I used to take for granted, like the stream/creek across the road in front of my house, where I could fish or swim, or ice skate in the winter; the hills and woods just 150 feet away, and yet still close enough to drive into a small city (30K). It's only 90 miles from where I live now, but for all intents and purposes, it might as well be an eternity, given the differences in geography.

Another piece of wisdom learned, lol. One needs to appreciate what they have. Problem is that you need a point of contrast to do that, most of the time.

To Banes: Couldn't agree with you more about the broken heart thing. Unfortunately, there's absolutely no way to avoid that, and still "live", as it were. That is, unless you exist as the person in the Simon and Garfunkel (who?) song: "I am a rock".

too bad a life where you would avoid all pain would be an unsatisfying life, as they no pain no gain, but i guess it makes sense seeing as life is a struggle, and without it there would be no life

im very jealous bleach, i unforunately do live in the concrete jungle

la is a horrible place to live, i really hate it here, im planning on moving to the south in a few years, possibly atlanta, memphis or lousville, but that'll still be a concret jungle anyway, just with alot of wilderness surrounding it (nothing beats going to a mall surrounded by a forest, cant find that in l.a.) however i plan to some time in the future become a park ranger, and just live in harmony with nature for a while, maybe retire that way
