Wow, do I ever hate myself whenever I pull this "Grandpa" shit, but I do wonder: Don't you guys (you know who you are--if the shoe fits...) have anything better to do than spend your 20s hunkered down in front of a computer flaming one another or replying "LOL," "ROFL," etc., so that you can attain the dubious honor of being the most prolific poster on this message board? Let me tell you something from the perspective of a limp-dicked old man: Go out and get laid--or at least try to. See the world, or at least your area. Hell, buy some coke occasionally, take an acid trip, or a 12-pack if that suits you better, and get fucked up and then...uh...go out and get laid. If that's not up your alley, go swimming, skiing, check out a museum, or read a fucking book.

I'm not JUST being a preachy old asshole (that statement is probably the #1 sign that I'm being a preachy old asshole) railing against "kids today." Think about it: a very nice guy decided to set this up for people to talk about q2 stuff and, of course, have the odd bit of fun at one another's expense. But your using this as your personal chat room is essentially just spamming this guy's server and this message board with useless chaff that is of no benefit to anyone but you, and the only "benefit" I see you getting is some sort of boner about having a shitload of posts. Why not PM one another when threads start degenerating into b.s., thereby leaving this board for its intended purpose and freeing up the site admin--who was kind enough to set this place up--from monitoring this crap and doing what he does best: running the best damned q2 server around.

Go ahead and flame me repeatedly--it will just prove my point.

i prolly fit into the category of people that this post is directed at, but i dont think you should be so assumptious, i personally dont know many of the other flamers on this board goes, but as far as experience, ive prolly experienced twice what most people my age have, as far as your suggestions go, ive been put into various kinky situations given my bicurious nature, ive probably done more drugs than anyone posting on this forum, including acid and coke, as far as seeing the world, last year i went on a 2 month road trip that spanned 18 different states, and ive been to central america various times, i also intend on going to the next olympics, ok i guess all those things arent up my alley, i like going to the beach and boogie boarding (its about the only thing i can afford at this point

) ive never been skiing but i dont much care for the snow, im an english literature major meaning ive read my fair share of books and continue to do so

so what if my current unemployment gives me the time to flame these boards? you got a problem with that? im sure there are plenty more people who spend an equal amount of time watching tv than i do posting on the forums, whats the difference? very little considering the type of crap thats on and what a waste it is to watch tv (granted there are still great shows, but thats not what people spend most of their time watching), they are both stupid mindless activities

i got an idea, why dont you continue to practice what you preach, and stay away from making such threads that only foster what it is that you are criticizing

i agree. i feel i see alot of the same people saying "chill out, it isnt serious, dont take what i say seriously" being the first to normally get uptight about someone else's post.

And i doubt that these people are the same way person to person. i just think alot of minds slip into an ego centered place when they are on the internet.
