Why isnt there any1 at Xatrix server for like new players too the Xatrix MOD and they are new too the mod y isnt there any1 in there too help with problems at Xatrix server like model errors and so on?

Xatrix was an official expansion that you had to buy. Many players playing it have the actual expansion and did not simply download the files from the server. That's probably why you run into so many people that aren't sure what your problems are if they've never seen them themselves.

In fact downloading the files from the server is still kind of iffy as far as license stuff goes. It's legal but I'm sure it's frowned upon. So I doubt there's ever going to be any comprehensive support for getting this expansion that way.

Yes Slip, so if you are running around and seeing a lot of white cubes in place of items/weaps ... you don't have all the files for xatrix.

so how do u get all the files learning Q2DM1 seems too be a dead end street cause no1 will let me learn teh map there so.... I thought I would give up on Tourney MOD and try out Xatrix MOD

The chainfist in Rogue kind of does that. The player using the chainfist gets pulled towards their target a little. Same with the chainsaw in Doom.

As far as a kill all melee weapon like the trap. It would be interesting but be hard to implement. Like it would have to be a new pickup, and it'd probably end up being pretty powerful...

Maybe I could rewrite a little of the trap code so that if you hold in the trap for 3 seconds it then becomes a melee weapon until you either catch someone or stop holding the button and then it just explodes.
