Hi,
I got banned from ra2 priv for broadcasting the password. Can I be unbanned please? I won't broadcast the password any more.

So others who didn't have the pw could play. It wasn't during a match or scrim so, thought it was ok. Guess I was wrong.

OK the ban is removed.

Frankly, the passworded ra2-match server is something of an ongoing experiment.

But basically, it is meant to sit idle until an actual match or scrim is being played.  Generally speaking, no-one should need the password to that server, except for playing a match or a scrim.

The ra2 match server password is passed around on irc like it's hpv. Pretty much everyone knows the password at this point. It's not really abused from what I've noticed though.

but yeah... broadcasting it on irc in clan channels is one thing compared to a public server with random players...
