Ra2 Server

Hey all,

Well it's been about 3 years since I've played ra2, but I decided to try again. I noticed you guys have one of the only servers running with players on it! I tried connecting to tastyspleen.net:27915, but it says connection refused....

What do I need to do to play? Is there a password or something? I got the latest nocheat and q2advance..

www.antiche.at go there, that's the current quake 2 build (R1Q2) that most people use these days along with it's corresponding anticheat program.  Not sure if that'll let you connect to that RA2 server, but it's worth a shot =)

well he doesn't have the private server IP/Port.. I'm however not convinced that it's an anti-cheat/R1Q2 fix.

I think it was the 'Player' name connection refused issue.  I wish I knew what was causing that...

There is a bunch of active Ra2 servers besides tasty's now. BUT none of them are as smooth as tasty. I ping 20 or so on a couple other RA2 servers and 60-70 on tasty. For some reason tasty's server is smooth while the 20 ping servers are a bit choppy.

I'll post you the other IP's when I get home. There is hardly ever two servers getting played on at once... people just seem to migrate where other people are playing, it's totally random.
