Don't worry Quads, everything is still the same.
There was some discussion about weather or not enough people would actually be there to make it a fun event for everyone. Our ultimate goil with this was for everybody to have a blast. With only about 10 people confermed to be there we we're worrying people would be disapointed. so we discussed the possibility of moving it and starting it at Qcon. But we decided to go ahead and keep it like it is. I think it will still be just as fun, it just won't be the massive specticle we we're hoping for.

Now on a more possitive note: Defiant has come up with some great Tourney ideas for the TS LAN Party, but i'll let him tell about those.

I would go if Quakecon was 2v2/4v4 and didn't really require practice. Since I won't be able to lan until July 28th, I really need to take advantage and try to get in good shape for the Quad Damage tournament. Even an hour is probably too far out of the way to ask someone to take me there and back snice I have no car. Have fun everyone!

I wanted to attend the Lan and Qcon this year, but a few family obligations are going to prevent it. I have a road trip planned starting 8-17 and will be gone for 10 days. It wouldn't sit well for me to run off during our local family festivities and then turn around and run off again a week later. I must be getting soft in my old age.
