I'll be at QuakeCon.

Perhaps more importantly, we have a Pre-QuakeCon Tastyspleen Athens LAN Party

What we have..

DeathStalker has provided the Athens LAN cafe, near Dallas TX, for the event.
The time is set - the days before QuakeCon - July 31 - Aug 2nd.

i plan to go and drag my father to PQCTSLP, and QuakeCon.

Im just waiting to see what insurmountable wall pops up that i can't leap over. Every year it is something. :/ But i am trying hard as hell to make it there this year. i am actually more interested in the PQCTSLP.

I'll be at QCon again! Unless a group is going down from the Hilton to Athens, I doubt I'll be able to make the TS-LAN though.

Sorry R1ch, I just realized you would be flying into Dallas and therefore my reponce to you makes no sence whatsoever.
BUT, I would imagine others might be coming to the LAN from Dallas. Mabey you could hitch a ride with one of them. I'll will keep an eye peeled for a ride heading this way.

Depending on who gets there first (BYOC that is) I was wondering if all TS folks want to set at the same table. I am trying to get there Wed night for early BYOC entry if they have it this year and can grab and reserve a table (or partial table) so we all can hang together.

If so, any particular area anyone have a preference for, I am forkin blind so I like a little overhead lighting, but have a LED KB lamp so I can deal with a dark corner if needed.

Sounds good to me. I'm not picky about a location, but I would like to see all TS-sters in one area this year. Today I'm gonna see what I can do about printing a large poster as a banner.
