I can see how his behavior on the servers could be annoying, but that seems like a pretty weak reason for all of the crap that gets flung his way on the forums.


It would seem that if he was really that far "below" you all, in terms of skill, you wouldn't need to put him down further by ruining his confidence, belittling his playing style, and making fun of his demos.

I have the toughest time understanding how reaper is someone who is worthy of so much negative attention, when you all repeatedly say how worthless you think he is.

 

That's really touching, but you've created a strawman argument here by seriously exaggerating and distorting "all of the crap that gets flung his way" in my reasoning. By doing this you can then take the moral highground and easily make your appeal.

Who is the "you all" in the terms of skill? Reaper is in fact far "below" adren in skill, but as I just told you, adren's patience with reaper's mouth can run out, and he's been pretty much spot-on in his critique.

Exactly who is "ruining [Reaper's] confidence"?? By asking this you assume that in fact, it is the case. If you're gonna label my opinion of reaper's pov ( boring) as "belittling his playing style" then you need to remember the maxim "Opinions are like assholes...etc."

And about the apparent conundrum of spending time writing about someone who's worthless, then I have only to ask you why you responded to the post when umm...this pretty much has nothing to do with you?? I just enjoy writing, and reaper's always a hoot to stir up, but from the speed and reactionary tone of your post, I'd have to say you really should FIRST ponder and understand that last point you posed.
