WTF WTF WTF WTF

Im on 3000kbps(3mbps) comcast high speed cable USB Internet thru motorola surf board cable modem and i get only 44-90 kbps

got any way to boost it?

cuz its slow and i got everything i need from "Mary Poppins" on AIM aka Pinkdotts add her she gave me it at 55-60kbps w00t w00t

host/console/admin do u use any messenger and if so can i talk to u on it about quake 2 please? =) and how old are jo0? and i see ure server

Hello FR4GG3R88. If you say you got everything you need from Mary Poppins already, then there should be no problem, right?

As far as "how old are jo0" ... We have more than ten volunteer admins. Together, our ages probably add up to more than 300.

We even have some female admins, like Mary Poppins. She is really cute. I think she likes when you talk to her on the IM.

seems they might have fixed some of the probs on the slower link
i just tried it and was getting 300KB
but i guess it all depends on how much traffic yahoo is pushing around.

fragger just because you have a 3mb connetion dont mean your gonna see 3mb all the time
3mb translates ruffly into a Max download of 384KB/sec. you might see higher bursts of it..unless they have you caped.
I have gotten files 720KB sec at home constant..usually from very fast providers . But i usually hover around in the 600-650KB/sec range on the download. the reason i could send to you at 50-60k because i have a max upload of 608kbps which is around a max of 76KB sec but you have to factor in overhead for dsl/and the route and all so 60 seems about right.

On downloading all the maps and stuff, what directories do we unzip them to? Do they all need to be unzipped to the same directory? Thanks for any help.

Hi Chris,

You'll want to unzip them into your baseq2 directory... From there they should automatically go into:

env/
maps/
players/
sound/
textures/

In 1998 my girlfriend wrote 3 maps that we played on alot. I still have them zipped but don't know how to submit them to tastyspleen for approval to possibly be played on Mutant or ?

Please advise. Thank you
