Can we please get a tastyspleen rails tdm server that has nothing to do w/ MK? Inappropriate admins running it. If possible anyway. THANKS.

I think the whole misconception is that inhuman allows and sides with a specific group of individuals that have a largely negative impact toward his decisions and actions in the commuinity. Then again, that's according to another specific group of people.

However I do think the running off of clan Devine from that commuinity is the backbone and reason behind all of this drama. I'm also sure if TS was running like MK does, TS wouldn't be as successful. If TS and MK wern't connected via the goto commands, I don't think the MK servers would get as much traffic as they do.

Just be thankful TS isn't run like MK, TS is the greater commuinity because it caters to the game as a whole, where MK is mod specific. TS can't afford to rule with an iron fist, all the hard work an dedication would be lost. I do however find a few things ironic about the MK commuinity, but I am not willing to post that information for the public eye.

Gator, am I correct in assuming that you run the tx.tastyspleen servers?

Because I've noticed a few things with the tx.tastyspleen.net I-tdm server that are a little screwy, and I wanted to address my criticism/complaints/suggestions to the right guy, so we can get it working nice and smooth as an alternate I-tdm hangout.

problems:

It seems to default to a regular tdm config every so often..
(not really a big problem if you know how the voting system works in OSP tourney)

It's been crashing once a day or so..
(big problem)

Sometimes it'll show in my browser, and other days, it's not responding..
(probably due to the crashing)

the map rotation is heavily dm1 and mods, but not many other good duel maps or team maps.
If I may suggest a few, the server could use:

q2rdm2 (chastity)
grdm1 (paranoia)
ztn2dm3 (rage)
ztn2dm5 (crucible)

yeah, i run the tx.tastyspleen.net servers.

i'll look into what is making it act up, i have an idea, about it switching mods. The flaky access to the server has been odd lately. i watch ports open and close like a wave that runs through the entire ip. Something to do with a router in the area, but its out of my control beyond complaining, which i can do if i see it get chronic.

And i'll look into the maplist.

i am always more then happy to make changes to the servers that players want. i really dont use them much anymore, and half the time, they were thrown up with little testing, so the help is always appreciated.

For all u mk hating people out there that like to team rail (speaking mostly to the btf guys here) ill start railing more at the ts team rails server if u guys are down

it doesn't necessarily have to be the people that hate MK either..

I'd love to see anyone who enjoys a bit of i-tdm, and would like to see more server choices...
I think that if we have 3-4 servers that are available, it'll drastically increase the mod's exposure and bring in a bit of new blood.

We won't win people over from their mod of choice without a strong showing to convince them that we're serious about insta-gib.

with that in mind, here's the address to the GBA insta-tdm server. it seems to be pretty stable and it pings like it's centrally located in the USA..

I saw some guys from BTF playin itdm on the tx.tastyspleen itdm server yesterday evening..
Can we assume that you guys are looking to put forth a rail team again, or were you just having a good time?

I think it would be awesome to play you guys again, and it would definitely further the itdm cause here on TS.

We were just fragging it up. i dont like team games of any mod, so im not ever going to be making a serious attempt of any form of tdm in any game. FFA noob forever!

i wont speak for others though. Maybe some other btfs would like to form a team again, i dunno.
