need help

i need help everytime i go into a server i get kicked and says cmd is not connect i dunno if im banned or dunno if anyone could help would be great

you're probably caught by Armor's ban.
It affects anyone in your town on that same ISP, (with a similar IP)

Prove to the admins that you aren't him and you'll probably get them to make an exception for your IP..
(unless you got yourself bant somehow in the same day as your brother)

YOU are banned by accident (probably)

Armor was banned intentionally for posting a fake condump and slandering an admin with it.


the reason you can't connect is that you probably have the same exact company providing your cable modem/DSL..

you're approx 3 miles away from Armor's house so this seems pretty reasonable.
the subnet portion of your IP address is identical to his because you're on the same network that services a chunk of the town you live in. (same ISP)

the rest of your IP may be slightly different than his, but it still gets you because it works against anyone with an IP from your ISP's local network. This is so the ban can still block him out if he changes his IP slightly to circumvent it.

you can easily change the portion of your IP that refers to your comp.
the part that refers to your ISP's network can't be changed by you.
(unless you change providers or the ISP changes it for some reason)


So in essence, Quadz got two dodo birds with one stone when he bant your brother's subnet range..
