That's odd. Why would a FPS gamer be extremely successful in other games - but be poor at Q1/Q2? Those games formed the fundamentals in all FPS games of that type of genre to follow - both in mouse/keyboard mastery and the strategy of these games.

I highly doubt the 12-16 hour a day practicing and even so.. one can go door to door selling cookies for 16 hrs a day! be in shape and make more than he has made doing this as a career... I feel bad for these kinda guys who spend so much on a computer playing games (addicted).. whatever.

He was "pretty good" at q2, but not the best.  My brother in law played him a few times and beat him.
