Theres been quite a few people interested in this idea on the tastyspleen and btf irc channels, so id figure id see if everyone else agreed.

It'd be a very simple game, setup just like the TS500, but using sconfig settings, so only hand grenades would be available. The fraglimit would be shortened to 300.

If theres enough interest in getting something like this started, ill start a new topic in the tourney section, setup a date on the calendar, and work out the details. I just wanna hear what your ideas are for now. thx

I would further vote that it be on a ts500 style map as well - open areas, little spam-friendly areas. Would really put a different pace to the game. Who knows? Could work

Anywho, I'm a YES for any new events, so I'm all for it.

This sounds like a great idea; I've always been interested would a good long match with nades would be like. So, yeah.... I am in.

Has to be hand thrown grenades all the way. That is the most skillful mode. As far as the map goes - that's a toughy. The distance can't be too big since there's a very real limit to maximum toss. And to have it up to 500? That will take an eternity. I have run thru the SP game many times (a good way to practice) just using grenades and it takes a while. No long rails or rockets. You have to get close to your target. Oh and put in a quad. 4X damage can take out a cluster of opponents (or yourself).

ohhh yea, you know I totally forgot about the bang mod! I remember playing that now, that was alot of fun!

I wouldn't mind using a mod like bang, but
1) I didnt see a server that is running the mod currently.
2)will people want to d/l the client in-order to play in the tourney?
