i'd love for someone to post a written history of the cows and penguins and SIR clan, etc. i havent seen any posts about some of the things taking part before and since my taking up camp here at TastySpleen in late 2004.

Can anyone, or preferably multiple people given a written history of things from as far back as they remember to now?

One day someone showed up on the Xquake server using the cow model.
Soon the cow model became a very hot commodity if only for a very short time.

Many people grew weary of the cow model and deleted it from their basq2, because it seemed harder to hit.

Over time a few cow model stalwarts emerged.

Thus began the saga of the cow......

I always thought the forming of the brotherhood of the cow was an interesting phenomenon. No other skin/model has grouped themselves like that to form a team. Maybe because they are more horizontal than vertical that makes them stand out. Cows are still teaming on Xatrix and occasionally on Vanilla. I think it puts more energy into a map instead of the usual FFA, since you're fighting a wall of leather.

HaHaHaHa That was great Dukie!

Matster was the first cow I saw. Actually I heard it moo first. Then it turned the corner and I lafed my ass off. The next map I changed to a cow and noticed Matster wasn't fragin me anymore. A few days later I joined that game and there were 3 cows playin and camping a rail, so I joined in. That's when it started for me. I started playing as a cow all the time, so I changed my name to MaxMoo_Wahoo.

Some players identified with the cows and you could tell they didn't like killing them (ReCycled, JQuestt, Dukie). A lot of people hated them though and went out of their way to frag them (You know who you are!).

The only thing that could come close to being as funny as a team of cows is, maybe, if a team of Homers played a team of Wilmas.

Someday the cows will lie down with the Zebra, Bunny and Pig and play as one.

Also, with all this Penguin stuff going on on the movies, we should have a Tasty Penguin Day. Console should force everyone to show up as the Penguin model.

The cows can be annoying, but funny at the same time, I remember one player who said to me when your high or drunk or whatever, the eyes can just be downright scary! lol

but they should have animated them more, like having moving legs and tail or whatever, lol
